President
Brooke Levy
Brooke is an Associate Attorney at Rosenblum Goldenhersh, specializing in affordable housing and community development projects. Driven by a passion for creating positive change, she works diligently to support sustainable solutions in her community.
Brooke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida Gulf Coast University and earned her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt Law School. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Tax Law at Washington University in St. Louis, further equipping herself to make an impact in her field.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and exploring the beauty of the Missouri Botanical Garden. She is excited to connect with fellow young professionals committed to making a difference in the St. Louis area.

Vice President
Mia Johnson
A proud St. Louis native, Mia recently returned home after six years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Her experiences traveling and working with diverse groups of people during her military career fueled her passion for community-building and making St. Louis a welcoming place for all. Mia is dedicated to helping individuals feel at home in her beloved city by fostering a sense of connection and belonging.
Outside of her work on the board, Mia enjoys spending her free time outdoors on Art Hill and is an enthusiastic supporter of St. Louis sports, especially the Blues. With her commitment to community engagement and her deep love for her hometown, Mia brings a unique perspective and energy to the Young Professionals Board.

Treasurer and Secretary
Jake Horwitz
Jake is a Senior Analyst of Internal Reporting at Ameren, where he combines his background in finance and data analytics to support his team. A proud graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, he earned both his Bachelor’s in Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics.
Beyond his professional role, Jake is passionate about community engagement and actively seeks opportunities to connect with fellow young professionals. He enjoys attending local events, networking, and collaborating on initiatives that make a positive impact in the community.
In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, as well as discovering new local coffee shops. He’s always up for a chat about the latest game or the best brew in town!

Alexis Warshaw
Alexis brings over a decade of nonprofit experience to her role as a Young Professionals Board member. With a passion for community development, she has been instrumental in supporting initiatives that create lasting, positive change in her community.
Originally from Florida, Alexis relocated to St. Louis two years ago and has since deepened her connection to the local nonprofit landscape. Currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in management and leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University, Alexis is committed to advancing her leadership skills and supporting organizational growth.
In her free time, she enjoys staying active by going to the gym, rollerblading, and exploring local farmers markets.

Community Relations Chair
Tanya Chiwara
Tanya is an Energy Engineer at GRP Wegman, specializing in performance contracting and renewable energy solutions. Her passion for renewable energy is rooted in her upbringing in Harare, Zimbabwe, where outdated technology and infrastructure led to frequent and prolonged power outages.
Previously, Tanya worked for the City of Fort Wayne, and her transition from the public to the private sector has deepened her commitment to giving back to her community in Saint Louis. She is dedicated to fostering connections among diverse cultures, reflected in her role as the Community Relations Chair for the Saint Louis Young Ambassadors.
Driven by a desire to empower young people, Tanya aspires to mentor and inspire the youth of Saint Louis, encouraging them to embrace their potential and see the world as full of opportunities.

Jason Whitlock
A St. Louis implant himself, with a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Jason has dedicated his life to advocating for social justice and driving meaningful change in his communities. His journey began as a Volunteer Fire Fighter where he learned the value of resilience and teamwork—qualities that continue to guide his work today. Currently, Jason serves on multiple nonprofit boards and works as an insurance salesman at State Farm.
Jason's academic background in sociology has equipped him with a deep understanding of societal dynamics, influencing both his professional endeavors and personal passions. Fueled by a commitment to uplift marginalized voices and foster inclusive environments, Jason strives to make a tangible impact every day. Whether through community engagement or strategic initiatives within charitable organizations, his goal remains clear: to champion equality and advocate for those who need it most. With each project undertaken, he is reminded of our collective power to create hope and inspire action toward lasting social change.
